专利说明:

Rod system for a tent roof with additional roof parts.
The invention relates to a rod system of a tent for in particular camping vehicles, camping trailers or similar camping equipment according to the preamble of claim 1.
Tent roofs as accessories for camping vehicles, autarkic groups of tent building elements in the form of tents with a steep wall or similar camping equipment have been known for a long time. The rod systems used for a tent thereby engage under a roofing cloth covering the inner space of the system, and through further components and structural extensions, roofs can be arranged such that an extra protected area is defined in the vicinity of a group of tent building elements. According to DE 202 16 105 U1 an extension of the roof part is provided in a tensioning device with two longitudinal beams, between which a transverse support is arranged. This allows the protruding area of the roofing cloth to be reinforced in such a way that rainwater is drained from it. In DE 1 148 044 B and FR 1,203,420 A, tents with steep walls in the area of the respective rod system are provided with vertical frame tubes, so that a roof outer fabric is held in place over the roof inner fabric.
However, it has been found that these additional supports of roof parts are not very stable, their use is complicated by a large number of parts and a corresponding installation and transport space is required for this.
The invention relates to the problem of providing a rod system for a roof of a camping tent, the group of building elements forming a front roof or similar extensions has improved stability in the position of use and, moreover, it takes much less effort to provide the entire rod system and a reinforced roof holder can be installed to save space.
The invention solves this problem with a tent rod system according to claim 1. Further advantageous embodiments of the invention appear from the subclaims 2 to 9.
The rod system for a tent has a support structure which comprises individual rods, roof racks or similar support elements, which in a composite position of use are particularly intended to make a useful space in the vicinity of a camping vehicle, a camping trailer or the like larger. The embodiment of such a support structure based on the invention provides that at least one of its support elements can be connected to a single support rod as an additional "support" to form a construction element. In the position of use, this support rod achieves an overall improved fixation, in particular for a front roof that protrudes beyond the roof or roof. side wall. Starting from this concept, the stability of this additional rod connection system can be increased with a more simple structure, because a "safety connection" is provided.
Moreover, according to the invention, the support rod which can also be slidably integrated in the support structure in the longitudinal direction is fixed by means of a special holding part in a respective desired tensioning position. This position, which determines the effective action of the holding part, in which the carrying rod is connected to the supporting element in the vicinity of a respective wall part of the tent, can be defined - for the outwardly directed carrying rod - as a penetration area. In this penetrating area, the holding part acts as a kind of shock limiter which can form-fit against the respective wall parts. The holding part, which is in particular shaped as a circular plate with a highly random diameter, is received on the carrying rod by means of a simple to establish clamping connection. fixed. The holding part can be released from the tensioning position by means of a few handles. Subsequently, a position change of the bearing rod can be achieved with little effort and the re-adjusted tension position for the projecting roof part is secured by the subsequent fixing of the holding part.
For optimum use of this holding part it is provided that it is integrated as a construction element consisting in principle of one part into the corresponding mounting system of the camping equipment, or the respective rod design. Moreover, additional structural elements for establishing the connection are largely superfluous, because during installation, resp. the dismantling of the tent rod system, resp. the front roof, fast use with uncomplicated operation is made possible by the one-piece holding part, which can be tensioned and released after it has been set up.
Further details and advantageous embodiments of the invention appear from the description below and the drawing, which shows an exemplary embodiment of the tent rod system with a carrying rod held in accordance with the invention. In the drawing: Fig. 1 shows a schematic representation of a camping equipment with the tent rod system with front roof in a position of use, Fig. 2 an enlarged detailed view of the front roof in the area of a support rod engaging below with a connection to the rod system of the tent, and fig. 3 is a perspective view corresponding to fig. 1 with the parts of the front roof that have been moved in a non-used position.
Figure 1 shows a camping equipment 1 designed as a camping tent, a supporting structure in the form of a rod system 2 displaced in the position of use engaging a tent under a tent roof with side walls 3 'indicated in its entirety by a general numeral 3. Such tent rod systems 2 are known per se and comprise highly variably mountable rods, roof racks or similar support elements 4, 5, 6 which, in the position of use, cooperate as a support structure and must accordingly be supported on the ground side (at B ' ).
The embodiment of such a tent rod system 2 according to the invention provides that at least one of the support elements 4, 5, 6 is provided with a carrying rod 7 or a similar additional part held thereon. In the embodiment according to Fig. 1, the support structure in the region of the two support elements 6 is provided with the support rod 7 accommodating these simultaneously, wherein it can be displaceable in its longitudinal direction in its entirety at least in the assembly phase (arrow S).
In the area of the front support element 6 there is provided a fixation of the carrying rod 7 which is essential for the invention and which is moved from the non-use position (Fig. 3) to the position of use, wherein it is received by means of a holding part 8 and thereby an unwanted displacement in arrow direction S is at least inhibited.
In Fig. 2, an enlarged detailed image shows the constructive individual parts of this fixation by means of the holding part 8, wherein it is intended in particular for a releasable connection to the at least one support element 6. This in particular makes a non-rotatable and retractable connection of components defined.
From Fig. 3 together with Fig. 1, it is clear that the support rod 7, which can be optimally mounted in the correct position in the non-use position, is connected to the support element 6 in such a way that stable connecting position shown with the tent rod assembly 2 can be achieved. The supporting rod 7, intended in particular for forming a front roof 9, is thereby moved into a position of use which projects outwardly beyond the plane E of the roof or roof. side wall 3, 3 ', thereby defining a penetration area B of the "horizontal bar" which is shown enlarged in its entirety in Fig. 2. In this area, by means of the construction with the holding part 8 according to the invention, a slide-in fixation of the carrying rod 7 is possible such that it assumes a position fixed in sliding direction S in the connecting position and unintended displacements of the system are prevented.
This concept is based on the fact that the holding part 8 forms a sliding protection which prevents an axial relative movement (arrow S) of the rod parts 7. After a displacement of the respective support elements and rod parts in the respective position of use, the above-described fixation by means of the holding part 8 can also be effected at highly random other positions of the tent rod system 2, and a disassembly of the system can only be carried out after the release of the stationary holding part 8.
It is self-evident that deviating from the illustrated embodiment, it is also possible for several holding parts (not shown) to be provided in the penetration area B which act as slide protection and engage the rod parts 7, and a penetration area B
it can also be defined on the rear or edge side of the camping tent 1. In Fig. 2, a carrier T facing the penetration area B is indicated in dashed lines, with which in a double-walled design of the tent roof 3 for the two roof layers (not shown) mutual distance is created, so that an aerated gap exists and the holding part 8 can be placed against the carrier.
The enlarged detail image according to Fig. 2 makes clear that the at least one holding part 8 defines a support region radially widened relative to a radial sliding axis M, wherein the holding part 8 can be laid on the circumference side in the plane E against the respective areas of the roofing cloth 3, resp. the side walls 3 ". As a result of this, in the case of an axial load in the direction of arrow F, a force diversion takes place which is distributed over the surface and the system is secured in its entirety as a result of absorbing the surface load.
It can be seen from the illustration of Fig. 2 that the holding part 8 is advantageously designed in the form of a radial slot 10 and a clamping disk 12 which has a central receiving opening 11. In this constructional embodiment it is provided that the holding part 8 can comprise both a holding contour surrounding the support rod 7 in the area of the passage opening 11, as well as a support contour in the form of a ring plate (diameter 13) which can receive the penetration area B.
For fixing the holding part 8 it is provided that it can be fixed directly between the support rod 7 and the support element 6 by means of a clamping connection, so that additional components are unnecessary for fixation and operation without additional tools is possible.
In an advantageous embodiment, it is provided that the clamping disc 12 made of an elastic material can be spread apart in radial direction, that the support rod 7 in this spreading position is gripped accordingly by means of the central passage opening 11 and that the plate areas are moved back from the spreading position, a force and form-fitting fixation of the clamping disc 12 takes place in the desired connection position on the support rod 7 such that a stationary connection also remains with an action of shearing forces according to arrow F (Fig. 2) and therefore wind loads or similar influences can be optimally absorbed from outside.
In Fig. 1 the above-described installation position of the clamped holding part 8 is made clear, wherein the carrying rod 7 is additionally held on to the tent rod system by a rear holding contour 14. Toward the front roof 9, the carrying rod 7 is provided with a telescopic rod part 15, on the free end of which a shuttle bar 16 is held. The installation position thereof can advantageously be fixed by additional lateral tensioning wires.
